IAS officers to monitor Kudimaramathu scheme

With the aim of effectively implementing the Kudimaramathu scheme and as part of monsoon preparedness measures, the State government has appointed seven IAS officers to monitor the participatory water management scheme to boost irrigation in 15 circles of the Water Resources Department, spread over various districts.

The IAS officers would monitor and provide necessary advice and solutions to the district-level officials to sort out bottlenecks and pave the way for speedy and better implementation of the scheme, and to ensure that its objectives are achieved, a Government Order issued by the Public Works Department said.
