HAL will be showcasing its strength by displaying various models of its products at the forthcoming Defexpo, the land, naval and internal security systems exhibition, at New Delhi from tomorrow February 6-9, 2014. These models will be displayed over an area of 330 sq metres at Central Hall Lake (Pragati Maidan) and will include ALH, LCH, IJT, Do-228, Su-30, Hawk, MTA, Chetak, LUH, LCA, HTT-40, Lakshya and PSLV and GSLV. HAL’s participation theme will focus on technological excellence, under its business verticals such as fighters, trainers, transport aircraft, helicopters, engines, systems and avionics besides projecting the company’s futuristic programs. Dr R K Tyagi, HAL Chairman will inaugurate the HAL stall on the first day, February 6, 2014 at 08.30 hrs. HAL officials will also participate in business meetings, conferences and seminars and explore the latest trends and opportunities in the defence sector. The biennial event, Defexpo, is an ideal platform for Indian defence industries to show-case their capabilities and explore the latest trends of the defence needs in India, particularly on land, navy and internal security fronts. An impressive 232 foreign companies from 32 countries participated in the 2012 edition which also had 15 country pavilions. The Defexpo India 2014 is the eight in the series.
